Clare Richardson CMIOSH had a brilliant two days last week with the SCSJV project team delivering Accident & Incident Investigation training alongside Dr Alan Scobbie CMIOSH.

Lots of hands-on group work using case studies: evidence gathering, interview practice (in person and online), sense-checking what we found, and building recommendations that actually stand up in the real world.

A big theme throughout was human factors — moving beyond blame and focusing on the conditions that shape decisions and behaviour.
