We were pleased to support the @Morgan Sindall Infrastructure Welsh Water Projects team with CDM 2015 training this week.

Whilst the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015 are now well established, we continue to find that the most valuable conversations aren’t about the legislation itself—they’re about how organisations can use the principles of CDM to continually improve.

Many of our clients already have mature health and safety cultures, so the discussion quickly moves beyond compliance and focuses on questions such as:
➡️ Are we doing enough to eliminate risk at source?
➡️ Do we give occupational health the same level of focus as safety?
➡️ Are we making the best use of the hierarchy of risk control when planning and designing work?
➡️ How do we positively challenge ourselves and our supply chain to keep improving?

CDM is about far more than meeting legal duties. It is about collaboration, influencing decisions early, and creating projects that are safer and healthier to build, operate and maintain.
