Dr Shelley Stiles was a presenter in the IOSH Webinar – Beyond hard hats and harnesses, focusing on the human side of height safety. Shelley was joined by Professor Neil Greenberg and hosted by Kelly Nicoll CFIOSH, IOSH President, to explore the importance of human factors in predicting and preventing human error for reducing risk associated with working at height. Shelley covered the opportunity human factors presents to better understand the whole system for those working at height, with Shelley sharing personal examples. Lots of great questions from the audience, and not enough time to answer them all!
There was even a photo from the archives of Shelley suspended in a safety net.
Thank you to IOSH and Chartered Institute of Ergonomics and Human Factors for the opportunity.
