There was a nice surprise for Director Shelley with an article published within this month’s edition of The Ergonomist. The article titled ‘Fighting fatigue’ shares some early findings of the study that the Gateway team have been undertaking this year, exploring fatigue risk management within UK Construction following a presentation at the CIEHF Annual Conference in April this year.

 The CIEHF have just published a call for papers for next year’s conference.  We would encourage our network to consider submitting a paper for any relevant human factors work in the construction sector. Let’s spread the word about the value Human Factors can bring to our workplace.
