Part of the Gateway HSW consultancy work for Briggs Amasco we are undertaking a discovery phase, to understand the internal and external influences on safety and health culture within the business. Shelley has visited Midland projects and Clare was lucky to see the sights of London from the roof tops at Moorgate and Stratford in the sunshine.

We have been listening to the site teams, supervisors, project managers and clients to understand key drivers of behaviours and what is impacting safety and health on site. We will now collate this feedback with the other activities we have been undertaking in our discover phase to play back to the Senior Management. This will give the business advice and actions to support the continuous improvement of safety and health culture. We have been very impressed already by the culture of the business and the commitment of everyone to keep improving.
