We are very excited to launch a research project to better understand fatigue risk management within the construction sector. Whilst we can learn a lot from other industries, there have been very few fatigue related studies specific to this sector that explore organisational culture and arrangements that enable effective fatigue risk management. For this early part of the research, we are seeking to develop an understanding of the activities, disciplines and trades within the construction sector are exposed to higher risk from fatigue.

We are looking for organisations working across the construction sector to participate and support with this invaluable work, both at an organisational and individual level.

For organisations we are asking for a company-level survey to be completed, which will provide insight into organisational maturity (both culture and systems) in relation to fatigue risk management within the construction sector. We are also looking for participants to provide individual level information via a short survey providing information about fatigue and their day-to-day activities when working in construction.
