At Gateway HSW we recognise the importance of proactively managing fatigue for risk reduction and improving productivity and wellbeing.
Taking learning from the aviation sector we use a biomathematical fatigue risk index tool that predicts the fatigue risk and helps our clients to proactively plan and manage work patterns considering workload, working hours, commutes, and rest periods. The risk rating can help decision making on changes to shift patterns giving our clients the confidence that they are putting safety and wellbeing of their workers first.
We also support our clients in developing their fatigue management systems and provide training to raise awareness of the management of fatigue for the workforce and line managers. We use the expertise we have in health, safety and wellbeing to integrate these improvements into existing arrangements.
