The Princess Royal Training Awards delivered by City and Guilds Foundation, recognise and honour organisations that show exceptional commitment to learning and development by create engaging learning programmes for growing and retaining talent across the UK and Ireland.
As the partner of choice, Gateway developed and delivered an interactive training programme bringing together a combination of powerful storytelling and adapted gaming techniques to create a completely new approach to focus on a key risk to the business. Choose the Safe Path TM training platform provides all the resources to enable the Galliford Try H&S Advisors to facilitate sessions as they engage with teams through multiple paths, choices and outcomes.
Through the training platform we can monitor progress and measure impact on safety performance. Since implementing the training, there has been a 50% reduction in high-risk accidents.
Having been the pioneers for this approach, alongside gathering evidence of the positive impact on performance and also feedback from teams across the UK, Galliford Try are now investing in a follow up training module.
