When a group of volunteers had an idea to reduce food waste and support the local community in the cost of living crisis, the Alvechurch Community Larder was created. The volunteers wondered if anyone would come, well they do come and the demand is bigger than anyone thought, so from June, the Community Larder will be open on an additional Thursday evening. Thank you to all the volunteers who have made this project possible and given up their time to help the local community whilst reducing food waste. We are proud to support such a wonderful community project.
