We’ve launched our new Fatigue eLearning!

by | 29 Nov, 2022

“Fatigue is known to be a factor in about one in five high risk incidents in the rail industry. We believe that this is only the tip of the iceberg”.
Fatigue Co-ordination Group, Rail Safety and Standards Board 2022.

In the modern world, there is mounting evidence that working long weekly hours over long periods increases the risk of accidents and incidents, as well as increasing health problems such as poor sleep, gastrointestinal and cardiovascular disorders.

Employers have a duty to manage fatigue risk and employees have a duty to work with the employer where their lifestyle choices increase personal risk at work. Fatigue management is of growing importance across a breadth of industries.

We are very excited to launch three new e-learning modules on fatigue:
·      General Fatigue Awareness
·      Fatigue Management for Line Managers
·      Fatigue Management for Line Managers (including Rail requirements to meet NR/L2/OHS/003 standard)

We also have 1-day and 2-day training courses for those seeking a greater depth of understanding.
