Dr Shelley Stiles thoroughly enjoyed the International Railway Safety Council conference in Seville. So many interesting presentations covering safety culture and safety performance. An interesting reflection is how complex the rail sector is and how challenging it can be to achieve sustainable improvement.
The importance of working together, not only on a global level, but nationally within the UK and within the many disparate aspects of the rail industry, really struck home. GatewayHSW will certainly be looking to facilitate greater sharing of lessons and good news across our network.
