Introduction to Human Factors

by | 9 Jul, 2026

The start of July has been about human factors for Dr Shelley Stiles! It has been great to deliver an introduction to human factors training course to Morgan Sindall Infrastructure SHEQ team, to support their future planning recognising the value of human factors at protecting people, reducing risk and being the best, we can be! There were interesting discussions on risk assessment, permit to work processes, effectiveness of communication protocols, workload and fatigue and much, much more. There was even task analysis for making a cup of tea!

Thank you to Carole Bardell-Wise CMIOSH for the opportunity to spend time with some of the team.

With 5 star reviews across the board, its fair to say the session was valuable and provided fresh insight into how to adopt human factors techniques in practice.
