Over the past 2 weeks, John Stiles has delivered CDM training for Gateway Consultants (HSW) in Coventry and Glasgow supporting organisations looking build strength in their approach to CDM 2015, whether as clients, principal designers, designers or principal contractors. Despite the regulations being in place for many years, the construction industry still has some way to go to really embed health and safety risk-based thinking throughout the whole project lifecycle.
We are proud to play just a small part in making the construction industry a safer and healthier place to work and support the creation of assets fit for the future.
Key areas covered in these sessions:
* Duties of Client, Principal Designer, Designer, Principal Contractor and Contractor as required by the CDM Regulations 2015
* Reflect on current examples of CDM in practice from the wider construction sector including integration of health and safety risk-based thinking
The feedback remains very positive from those attending the sessions:
“I now have an understanding of my role within CDM and my duties”
“Refreshing my responsibilities so I can assure myself I and others are adhering to requirements”
