Exciting opportunity!

by | 17 Feb, 2023

We are passionate about developing organisations and individuals to release their full potential, staying true to our values we strive to enable people and organisations with access to fresh thinking, new perspectives, support and resources. We see this as us giving back, and this is a legacy that Gateway is proud of.

Each year we identify opportunities to do this. In 2022 we facilitated a free webinar to Raise awareness on the subject of fatigue, support by a panel of experts Iain Ferguson CFIOSH FIIRSMNick Salt MSc BEng FICEStuart Webster-SpriggsLisa Artis and Paul Davis MBE. This was attended by over 100 representatives from a broad range of organisations.

This year 2023 we are going to do something a little different. Building on Gateway areas of interest and the principles of “The Workplace Athlete”, we are offering sponsorship support for an up-and-coming athlete. We recognise the difficult times that everyone is experiencing particularly young people, our future generation of workers and would like to help to create a positive, supportive environment for them to thrive.

We would like to offer a sports sponsorship opportunity to individuals that meet the following criteria:

·       Someone with potential to be an ambassador for their sport.
·       Potential role model for their peers
·       Positive attitude and commitment to learning and continuing improvement
·       Someone where the funding will support them to take it to the next level in their sport.

Applications are invited from any sport where there is a strong link to Gateway areas of interest, Mindset, Leadership, coaching, physical and mental wellbeing.

We are asking our network to share this post, if you know of anyone that would be interested between the ages of 16-25 years, please contact Thehub@gatewayhsw.co.uk for an application form. Closing date 3rd March
