We have been working with East West Rail Alliance to develop a Non-Technical (NTS) on-site skills training programme for site operatives and supervisors.

NTS compliment technical skills, underpin training, help staff understand their approach to tasks and how to mitigate against risks and errors

The training was designed to be delivered out on site, utilising relevant workplace scenarios and delivered to minimise disruption to site activities. The structured training is flexible to allow for the needs of different groups and the priorities across the breadth of the workforce.

The ability to deliver onsite allowed members of staff to be comfortable in the training environment and provided the opportunity for transference of learning directly to the work situation.

Feedback for the interactive training has been extremely positive with a 95% approval rate.
