New training launched for Galliford Try – Service Avoidance

After months of hard work, it is great to support Galliford Try launching the latest module in its Choose the Safe Path™ behavioural programme, with a new focus on Service Avoidance.

Building on the strong impact of the award-winning  ‘Falling Objects’ module, this next module has been developed in partnership with Gateway Consultants (HSW) Limited, combining industry expertise in human factors and impactful learning resources, with Galliford Try’s operational experience.

Choose the Safe Path™ is an interactive, scenario-based learning experience designed to reflect real site conditions. Participants follow a realistic project scenario and make decisions at key points, with each choice shaping what happens next. Set within a live project environment, the training brings to life familiar challenges such as programme pressure, competing priorities and changing site conditions, helping teams understand how everyday decisions influence outcomes. The format is designed to create a safe and engaging environment, where people feel confident to share experiences, challenge thinking and learn from one another.

The programme focuses on decision-making, behaviours and culture for safety, mental health and wellbeing, environment and quality, alongside the importance of robust processes and controls.
