We have some exciting news following our recent promotion of a sponsorship opportunity. 
We would like to introduce Maddie Adkins, an amazing young athlete who Gateway will be sponsoring.

Maddie is a talented boxer, based in the Midlands, who is currently in the England squad. Maddie has recently been selected to represent England at the upcoming European Youth championship in Armenia.
She is an inspirational athlete who shares the core values of Gateway, her desire to support and inspire others to participate in sport really stood out.

Maddie trains incredibly hard and sacrifices so much that her peers take for granted, to be the best athlete she can be and pursue her dream of being an Olympian. It was truly amazing hearing her story and the ups and downs she faces.

Maddie said “Commitment and hard work produce champions, no matter what life throws at you it’s all part of learning so you always stay positive. Being able to train as an athlete takes many social and unsocial hours, this help with funding will help me achieve my dreams and goals”.

We are proud to play a small part supporting Maddie on her sporting journey and look forward to working with her, a legacy that Gateway can be proud of!
