In the UK there are 12 million adults with hearing loss which is 1 in 5 adults in the UK and this is being overlooked in education, health settings and the workplace. This has a huge impact on Mental Health, Personal Development and think of all the potential that is undiscovered.

Gateway HSW enjoyed supporting Deaf Awareness week in May and are fully committed to promoting inclusivity. Our Hub Manager Nicky has completed a 6 week British Sign Language Course with Midlands based Sign Hear, Big Thanks to Jo and Leanne who are fabulous teachers and ran a fun and informative course. Nicky has been so inspired that she intends to gain a further BSL qualification.
