Our Directors Clare Richardson CMIOSH and Dr Shelley Stiles often support their local communities, and this weekend was another of those events. Shelley has been working in the background for weeks supporting the village fete committee to prepare the Event Safety Plan and risk assessment. After the success of last year and a sunny weather forecast the event promised to be a success with lots of people attending (upwards of 500). The duck race was less of a concern this year due to the lack of recent rainfall. “Hot fire branding with children and general public during a heatwave was an interesting one to risk assessment!” Shelley said. The fete was a great success, with lots of money raised for local community groups.
