It has been a fantastic few days for Clare Richardson CMIOSH supporting the Briggs Amasco Ltd Health & Safety Forum.

Two thoroughly engaging days spent with teams across the business:
📌 Day 1 – Exploring all things health, safety and wellbeing with Directors and Managers.
📌 Day 2 – Working with subcontractor partners to reinforce the importance of creating safe, healthy and supportive workplaces.

It was great to see the continued commitment from Briggs Amasco Ltd to developing and embedding their “Do the Right Thing” culture, taking time out of busy schedules to focus on the behaviours that underpin strong health, safety and wellbeing performance.

The sessions included practical exercises on:
✅ Challenging conversations, speaking up for health, safety and wellbeing
✅ Safe start, safe finish risk controls
✅ Fatigue risk management

We had some fun with a Fatigue Football Penalty Shootout, demonstrating the impact fatigue can have on performance, decision-making and safety, while raising awareness of the controls and mitigations that organisations and individuals can put in place.

A huge thank you to everyone who participated and contributed to the discussions. We are delighted to continue working with Briggs Amasco Ltd and look forward to seeing their health, safety and wellbeing culture continue to develop and mature.
